And of Clay Are We Created: Tone Questionaires

1. What is the author's attitude towards actions or events?
The author's attitude towards actions and events both are extremely depressed and stressed out. Because of the limited time in saving Azucena's life, the author had desperately searching for just a pump.

2. Is the story humorous or tragic or grightening? Does the author want you to laugh or cry, to feel happy or sad, to experience anger or fear?
The story is truly tragic. The way the author had expressed her feelings made tears brim my eyes. I was afraid if Azucane was to die at the end of the story or not. At the same time I felt angry and could not understand why it takes so much time to deliver just a pump.

3.What is the author's attitude toward characters or the narrator? Does the author like or dislike, trust  or misrust the character or the narrator?
Ther author's attitude towards the characters is how she understand Rolf 's pain to watch Azucena dying and Azucena's feeling of being trapped in the mudpit for days.
